Mumbai food! Each of the Indian states have cuisines starkly different from each other, and some Indian cities have dishes specific to them. This restaurant fills the need of authentic Mumbai dishes in this city along with a variety of dishes from other regions. A weekend lunch here would ensure that you taste some of the specials not served the week. Our palates were satiated with the dishes we tried, the bheja tawa masala , Tandoori pomfret , and Vada pav were perfectly done as in Mumbai . The finger licking Murg Musallam is a large plate and suitable for sharing. The Yakhni pulao is also quite toothsome and should be tried. A fine way to end the meal is with some cutting chai, and you feel you're right in a restaurant in Mumbai!

Awesome atmosphere and food is delicious! Tried all vegetarian options and they are good. The non-veg class is totally at different level, superb. Must try when in Abu Dhabi.

A friendly neighborhood restaurant Pappu Paya ! Serving some of the juiciest kebabs. We had a great meal at Pappu Paya! The service was excellent, the owner was extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, we had the spinach paneer, fry daal and butter chicken. Accompanied by naan and biryani rice. Perfect for 2 people. Would 100% recommend!

We came to a vacation in Abu Dhabi and ended up coming to Pappu Paya 3 times for dinner and 1 more time for lunch. We always had a great time. Very nice and attentive staff, delicious food and very fair prices. Definitely recommend :)

A decent North Indian restaurant in Abu Dhabi with a nice selection of kebabs and curries. We ordered Bhukhara Daal, Salli Sheek Kebab and Mutton Kheema. The food was nice and tasty. The service was good and the ambiance was different with some Bollywood touch.

Had an amazing time at this Indian restaurant! The highlight was definitely the Paya dish. The rich and flavorful broth was a perfect match for the tender meat, creating a comforting and authentic taste. The menu had a great selection of other Indian dishes as well, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The ambiance added to the overall experience, making it a perfect place for a satisfying meal. Looking forward to returning for more delicious Paya and exploring their menu further!
